The pupils from 4th and 5th Class enjoyed a wonderful school tour on Wednesday, 17th June. We travelled on the Rose of Innisfree boat to Parkes Castle in Dromahair, where we took part in a very informative and engaging tour of the castle. The children then enjoyed a lovely picnic and had great fun exploring the fascinating Troll Wood beside the castle.
We returned to Sligo by boat, and everyone had the chance to take a turn at driving the boat and dance along to the lively music on board.
Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable excursion, and we would highly recommend it.
