Book Rental and Booklists

All schoolbooks, copies and stationary are free to all pupils this year 2023-2024.

To fully equip your child for school all you need to do is:

  1. Purchase a school uniform (tracksuit) and several white polo shirts from Kool Kidz or other shops in Sligo town.
  2. Purchase a lunch box (no schoolbag needed).
  3. Complete the Free Books Scheme Agreement form below:
  4. Contribute to the art and photocopying costs detailed below:
  5. Optional contribution to Allianz Pupil Personal Insurance Plan as detailed below:

 

 

Pupil Payments

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We have reduced the cost of art materials this year. The following payments are due for the 2023-20234 school year:

  • Art and Photocopying- All classes
    • 20 euro for 1 pupil
    • 35 for a family of 2 pupils
    • 45 for a family of 3 pupils
  • We will no longer accept cash in school in compliance with FSSU guidelines.
  • All payments should be made online by bank transfer. 
  • If needed, a bank lodgement slip is available from the school office. This will allow you to make your payment in cash at your own bank or the Bank of Ireland on Stephen's St.

Please ensure that your child’s name and class appears on the payment description/message.

We will not know who has made the payment if you do not indicate this while arranging the payment. It is advised to take a screenshot of the transaction for your records and to email this to secretary@stbrendanscartron.com

  • If you are experiencing difficulties, please call the school and a payment plan can be organised.

 

Optional Pupil Personal Insurance is also available through the school. Forms will be given to each child to take home and are available to download from our website. You must sign and submit the completed form to the school office. Payment should be made as above.

There are 2 options: 6 euro which provides insurance cover for your child for any activity usual to the school, carried out with the full knowledge of the Board of Management, including direct travel to and from such activities OR 9 euro which provides insurance cover for your child 24 hours a day for both school activities and
social, domestic and pleasure activities (including during school holidays).
