6th class explored the topic of length through interactive maths stations. The hands on activities made learning both engaging and practical!
📏 Paper Aeroplanes – Pupils designed and launched their own paper aeroplanes, measuring how far each one could travel.
📐 Geoboards – Using geoboards, they calculated the area and perimeter of different shapes.
🗺️ Maps & Plans – They also interpreted scales on maps and plans, discovering how measurement applies to every day life.
We all agreed that these are great skills to have and we had lots of fun putting them into practice!
