Aistear - The Dentist

We were learning all about occupations. We had a visit from our local dentist. He showed us how to clean our teeth properly. He also showed us how much sugar is in some of our favourite drinks. Some children even had their teeth checked! 

We had lots of fun practising cleaning teeth, role playing the dentist and exploring all about our teeth. We made equipment for the dental surgery with junk art. Then we focused on lots of healthy eating activities as part of our SPHE programme.
