Aistear in Junior Infants-The Hospital
This month Junior Infants are learning all about the hospital. We are having lots of fun in our role-play area where the pupils can be doctors, nurses, receptionists or even a patient. We have very caring and hard-working doctors here in Junior Infants, who have been tending to our sick patients with bandages and x-rays and checking up on their overall health!
Our arts and crafts area, where the pupils cut and stuck their doctor's equipment into their doctor's bag is a huge success. We also created a hospital and a road from the scene of an accident to the hospital using our wooden bricks.
We also are having a great time playing with our small-world toys, there is a doctors office, an ambulance and a range of different patients who are in need of a check-up.
For our art lesson, we created our very own x-rays using cotton buds and chalk!
