This month we have been learning a lot about war and trying to relate to the children of war around the world. Our reading has been based on "I am Malala", which is a recount text about Malala Yousafzai, a young girl who was shot by the Taliban, survived and now continues to fight for equal education opportunity for all.
This art work was inspired by some photographs. We use mixed media - drawing with pencil, outlining with marker and the use of photographs to create pieces that represented the true emotion and feelings involved for war refugees.
