A Special Visitor
At Christmas there was great excitement in our class when Ms. Hurley told us that we would have very special visitor to our class. She had just received a very special letter sent from Santa and she came to our class to read it to us. Santa said that he was sending one of his elves "Elfie" to check up on us and report back to him. He said the Elfie was a little bit naughty and he was hoping that he would learn from us. We were very excited and couldn't wait to meet him. He arrived the very next day while we were in the playground. When we came in we found him lying fast asleep in the bed in our Small World play area! Santa said that we weren't allowed to touch him or her would go straight back to the North Pole. Each day when we came in to school we found Elfie hiding in a new place in the classroom. When we came back to school after Christmas he was gone.
