We were delighted and excited to welcome "Festival in a Van" in conjunction with Sligo Baroque Music Festival, to our school this morning. "Festival in a Van" is a mobile performance venue funded by Creative Ireland and the Arts Council with a mission of ensuring that everyone in Ireland has access to high quality arts experiences. This was a fantastic opportunity to experience live music and singing in our own school playground and learn a bit more about Baroque music, an ancient form of music and singing from the 17th century. Thanks to Sligo Baroque Music Festival and "Festival in a Van" for this unique and most enjoyable experience.
