Fine Motor Skills

Junior and Senior Infants have been working on their fine motor skills since September and are making great progress with developing their hand eye coordination and muscles in preparation for their handwriting. Some of the activities they have taken part in so far include using a tweezers and pompoms, playdough, cutting and sticking, threading beads, lacing cards, copying patterns on whiteboards, pegging clothes pegs onto boxes and using stensils for drawing.
