GLOBE River Ecosystem Investigation in 4th Class

Well done to Ryan & Amira who presented our river observations of the local Willsborough Stream (across from Centra) on Zoom this morning. 
4th class undertook a project run by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) & GLOBE Ireland, where we had to study a local waterway and how clean it is.
We recorded the pH levels, nitrate & phosphate levels and temperature.
Overall, we found the river quality to be good, however there was a lot of plastic pollution. 
We hope to organise a litter pick up before the end of the year.
