Green Fingers in 1st Class 🪴
31st May 2021
First class had great fun planting cress seeds and green beans during the month of May. They planted the seeds in small pots using compost and ensured they got enough water and sunlight. We also conducted an experiment to see what would happen if one pot of seeds got some water but no sunlight. As you can see from the pictures below the cress seeds still grew in darkness but were not bright green in colour like the remainder of the plants. The children were keen to take their pots home and I am delighted to hear many families have replanted them in their own garden. Well done everyone!
