January in First Class
In Geography we learned about Australia and we celebrated Australia Day with Tim Tams and milk.
Teacher asked us to bring in our favourite story from home. We took out our blankets and cushions. We got cosy and enjoyed reading and sharing our stories.
We finished our class novel the Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark. We brought Plop to life using brown and orange card and pastels. We are delighted with how our Plop the owl turned out.
We proudly learned the poem January.
Finally, our class had the opportunity to bring in one of our favourite toys from Christmas. We had show and tell and we were so excited to tell our teacher and friends all about our toys and how they work. It was so much fun and we got time to play with our toys at the end of the day ๐
