Our school celebrated World Down Syndrome Day 2025 by having a ‘Lots of Socks’ day. WDSD is celebrated every year on March 21st. 🧦💙💛
Both staff and children wore odd socks to school today to spread awareness of Down Syndrome and to mark the special day. It was so much fun and the children (and adults) looked great in their mismatched socks. 😊
Classes completed various activities for WDSD such as; learning Lámh signs on zoom, singing songs using Lámh signs, designing their own odd socks, reading stories and having a party. 🎉
