'Maths is Fun' Parents Workshop
On Wednesday, October 16th, St. Brendan’s hosted a ‘Maths is Fun’ workshop for the parents of Senior Infants.
Mrs. McKenna organised an engaging session that encouraged parents to participate in play-based learning activities with their children.
The workshop focused on making maths fun while stressing the significance of early counting activities, which help children develop a solid foundation and understanding of number concepts. The activities included dice games, partitioning exercises, shape monster art and a game of Snakes and Ladders.
As you can see from the pictures and videos below, the event was a huge success and everyone left with a goodie bag on the day.
Thank you to all the parents who took the time to attend and actively participate—we really appreciate your involvement.
A special thank you to the class teachers, Ms. Reynolds, Ms. Henry, Ms. Mitchell and our HSCL Mr. Gallagher, for their help and support in making sure everything ran smoothly on the day.
