Over the past 2 weeks, we have been learning all about people who help us in our community. We focused on a few common roles: doctor, bus driver, firefighter and teacher.
The children loved our rhyme of the week 'Miss Polly had a Dolly' and we used this as a stimulus for our doctor role-play activity. We also learned about places in our community and the children spoke about their favourite places in Sligo and their home countries. School, Doorly Park and Penneys were very popular. Well done boys and girls!
