School Tour to Eagles Flying
Junior and Senior Infants and First Class enjoyed a great day out at Eagles Flying today. There were lots of excited faces this morning as this was the very first school tour for most of these children. First we were introduced to the birds of prey in their homes. Then we sat down for a flight show where birds such as eagles, owls and kestrels swooped over our heads. Some boys and girls were lucky enough to hold the birds. We then had a picnic followed by a trip to the petting zoo. Here we met pigs and day old piglets, goats, bunnies, mice, baby mice, a racoon and some parrots. We got to hold the animals and had great fun. We also saw ponies and sheep. A great day was had by all.
