Science Workshop in Sligo Library

Today, as part of Science Week, 4th class attended a workshop which looked at sustainable food provision for the future, in Sligo Library.

We began by making lovely insect homes for mealworms using porridge oats and cardboard. This was followed by sampling chocolate covered beetle larvae. They were surprisingly delicious. 😋
