In 2nd Class, we have been investigating 2D shapes through hands on activities that helped us think like mathematicians!
Using matchsticks, we constructed shapes such as triangles, rectangles, and pentagons while investigating their properties. We also solved some maths problems.
On the geoboards, we explored how shapes can be rotated and resized.
Finally, we created Shape Monsters by combining and arranging 2D shapes.
Throughout our shape journey, we developed our spatial awareness and deepened our understanding of how shapes work and change.
